The VP Choice Awards (abbreviated VPCA) is an awards ceremony organized by Philippine-based publication Village Pipol and its parent company RED Entertainment, Inc.
VPCA acknowledges the people’s choices in categories such as Travel, Lifestyle, Technology, Business, and Entertainment.
WHAT IS VPCA HALL OF FAME?
The VP Choice Awards’ Hall of Fame is bestowed upon brands, companies, celebrities, and personalities that have been consistently chosen by the Pipol for three (3) consecutive wins in the same award category.
WHEN ARE THEY AWARDED WITH VPCA HALL OF FAME?
Recipients eligible for the Hall of Fame will receive their trophy during the subsequent year’s awarding ceremony. For instance, if they secured wins in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th VPCA editions, they will be honored with the HALL OF FAME recognition in the 5th VPCA. However, they will be excluded from nominations in the same award category for that year.
CAN THEY WIN MULTIPLE VPCA HALL OF FAME?
Yes! To earn another Hall of Fame accolade, they must secure three (3) consecutive wins in the same category.
IF THEY WIN THREE (3) CONSECUTIVE YEARS, CAN THEY STILL RECEIVE A NOMINATION IN THE NEXT VPCA?
No, once they are granted the HALL OF FAME title, they are exempt from nominations in that category for the following year’s VPCA. However, after receiving the Hall of Fame award, they become eligible for nominations in that same category again in the following VPCA.
WHAT IF THEY WON IN THE 1st, 2nd, AND 4th VPCA? ARE THEY CONSIDERED A HALL OF FAMER?
Unfortunately, no. To qualify for the HALL OF FAME recognition, three (3) consecutive wins are strictly required.
