This year’s most talked-about collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA Network officially came to life through Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
Marking the 20th anniversary of the beloved reality franchise, this season is particularly historic as it is the first time PBB aired on GMA 7—a move that once seemed impossible.
Premiering on March 9, PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition brought together 20 new and familiar faces from both Star Magic (ABS-CBN) and Sparkle (GMA Network) as official celebrity housemates. What made this season unique was its “duo” format—each pair, consisting of one Kapamilya and one Kapuso artist, navigated nominations, evictions, and weekly challenges as a team, all in pursuit of making it to the Final Big 4.
After nearly four months inside the iconic house, four duos emerged as the season’s Final Big 4:
- Esnyr Ranollo & Charlie Fleming (ChaRes)
- Ralph de Leon & Will Ashley (RaWi)
- River Joseph & AZ Martinez (AzVer)
- Brent Manalo & Mika Salamanca (BreKa)

Before the much-awaited Big Night taking place today, July 5, the VP Choice Awards conducted a Pi-PoLL to find out which of the Final Big 4 duos the public deemed most deserving to win this season’s “Duo Big Winner” title.
PiPoLL’s Favorite Big Winner Duo
With an overwhelming 43.57% of the votes, ChaRes—Esnyr Ranollo and Charlie Fleming—was voted as this season’s Pi-PoLL Big Winner. They were followed by AzVer with 20.57%, RaWi with 18.10%, and BreKa with 17.81%.

Esnyr – Kapamilya Celebrity Housemate
Esnyr Ranollo, a Kapamilya content creator-turned-artist under Star Magic and Rise Artists Studio, rose to online fame during the pandemic with his relatable “high school-verse” skits, where he portrayed all characters himself. His creativity and comedic timing won the hearts of many, eventually leading him to mainstream opportunities, including working with Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (DonBelle). Inside the house, Esnyr was never nominated for eviction and consistently brought joy, laughter, and viral TikTok-worthy moments to viewers.
Charlie Fleming – Kapauso Celebrity Housemate
Charlie Fleming, a rising teen actress under Sparkle, is known for her singing and dancing skills showcased on TikTok. Relatively new to the industry, she starred alongside Bea Alonzo, Jean Garcia, and Carla Abellana in her debut GMA series Widows’ War. As the youngest housemate in the edition, Charlie initially struggled to adjust due to the age gap with fellow housemates. She and her former kapamilya duo, Kira Balinger, were the second duo evicted. However, she was given the chance to return to the house and, with Esnyr as her final duo, proved her worth by becoming the first duo to secure a spot in the Big 4 through the votes of the House Challengers and remaining housemates.

Declaring the official Big Winners
It’s important to note that this Pi-PoLL is an independent initiative of the VP Choice Awards, designed to capture the public’s sentiment. The official results of PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition will be determined through voting on the Maya App, which features the show’s unique Vote to Save and Vote to Evict system—a format that adds both strategy and unpredictability.
Will the official results reflect the Pi-PoLL rankings, or will the Vote to Save vs. Vote to Evict mechanics shake things up? We’ll find out tonight during the Big Night.
As the season closes, Pinoy Big Brother continues to prove its place as the country’s most iconic and beloved reality show—offering diverse stories, authentic personalities, and now, a historic collaboration between two media giants. This season may well be one of the most refreshing and memorable yet.
The 7th VP Choice Awards Nomination is coming!
As part of the Pi-PoLL activities, and with Charlie & Ensyr emerging as the top favorites in this poll, they are now one step closer to possibly securing official nominations for the upcoming 7th VP Choice Awards. Further details on the nomination process will be announced once the official nominations are unveiled this October.
